I wish one of these girls would “man up” and refuse to do one of these torture dates .
Ok. Has Lincee already mentioned anything about the way Emily moves her nose back in forth when she’s thinking? If she speeded it up, she’d look like Tabatha on Bewitched.
I’m thinking that Courtney is just interested in ‘winning’, that is being the last one standing more than she is interested in an actual relationship. I like Kacie B more and more though.
Love the horse comment on huffpost – I was thinking the same thing, that he looked both terrified and pained because his boys probably got a little bit crunched as he slammed forward into the saddle horn when the horse lunged across the river. Meanwhile, all the girls are exclaiming over his riding skills!
Looks like Emily might ruin her chances if she keeps talking about Courtney which it looks like she does next week. God, I’m sorry but I cannot stand Courtney. She is so ugly inside and out. Ben is oblivious. She never can look him in the eye for more than two seconds. Get a clue! She’s just not that into you.

can’t wait to read the recap. what a crazee bunch, those girls. I agree with softballchic that Courtney is more about “winning” than about Ben. She looks like a mouse or gerbil with the way she moves her mouth, add the baby talk and she’s a squeeking mouse. I loved that she was telling the blond Casey that she is not a mean girl but that she’d like to rip her [Emily’s] head off. Interesting definition of mean. And speaking of Emily, for the love of all things microbial! you are going to be a DOCTOR, an epidemiologist, don’t let this little show make you so emotional.
Emily’s hair looked fried. I would not be so quick to nominate Blakley for miss congeniality!
Did anyone notice that Casey S, Courtneys best friend looked like a blonde version of Elvira at the cocktail party?
What was up with the scarves? In the opening sequence with all the girls, at least 5 of them had scarves on.
The face twitches were hilarious last night. Gerbil is dead on! While Bewitched needs to go back to being sane. Courtney is this season’s “edited to seem evil” character. While clearly self-centered, I don’t think she’s evil. She is a chick who wants to win. All of them want to win, but some are far more gracious.
Usually the ladies are in the Bachelor pressure cooker, with 20 hours a day of dreaming, talking, planning, prepping, being asked about Ben. He is the first Bachelor that sails my boat. He’s normal with a backbone and masculinity.
What is up with these dumb men always keeping the mean girls around? Courtney is truly horrible. I hope he’s watching these episodes and rethinking everything. I am truly hoping he ends up with either Kacie B., Lindzi, or Jennifer, although, I think all three of them could do better.
Last night was one of the harder to watch of the Bachelor episodes I have seen. Courtney’s psycho obsessiveness makes Michelle Money look well-balanced. The fact Ben can’t see who she really is a testament to his inexperience. Casey S. went from being obscure to a total airhead. Sometimes it’s best to just be quiet and sit in the corner. And Emily only stops digging her own grave long enough to change shovels. How could you miss the twitches? That went from getting old to being creepy in record time. From the previews, she doesn’t learn her lesson about ratting out Courtney.The way Ben dismissed Samantha was shocking. Talk about a girl who didn’t see it coming. I can only guess there was much we didn’t see about this girl that led Ben to believe she wasn’t taking the show seriously. Monica was doomed from the beginning, but at least she got that other girl’s phone number. I was stunned how teary she was in the end, unless I don’t remember correctly, I thought she said she didn’t care for Ben in the beginning? As to horse riding prowess, no one comfortable with riding has a deathgrip on the saddle horn….lol. And, the Rachel/Ben date was the most awkward since Ashley’s last date with Brad. They both get an F on that one!
Courtney…she makes me doubt whether she really likes Ben just because she seems more concerned in “winning” and getting a rose to spite the other girls than to actually fall in love. It’s sad that through all her success with modeling that she has such bad self esteem, as a truly confident woman does not need to put down others and make others feel bad in order to feel better. She is a pretty girl and when she is with Ben she acts completely different, so I can see why Ben is attracted to her. I hated how she manipulated him with the whole story of her being discouraged just to get the rose on the group date. Poor Ben…I hope he sees before it’s too late what her true colors are. Emily just ended up making herself look like the bad one by trying to warn him and it’s a shame because I believe she is there for the right reasons. Just another case in point that life is not fair and sometimes the good girls finish last in games like The Bachelor. I’m really pulling for Kacie B…she is so sweet and seems like she would be perfect for Ben in the long run of life…although Courtney would be the perfect short run fling.
Forgot to add, Ben skinny dipping with Courtney iin Puerto Rico s about the worst slap in the face of the other girls that I could imagine. If I were a candidate, I would be on the next flight home!!!
I am pulling for Kacie B ~ she seems normal (for a reality show contestant!), sweet, and that she and Ben have real feelings for each other. Some things come with the territory on this show, like knowing the guy you like is also dating other girls. However, the skinny-dipping situation is so highly inappropriate, and in Ben’s circumstances, insensitive to other girls HE has feelings for…I’d love to see Kacie B take a stand and call him on it. Go ahead and leave and wait for someone with a better sense of judgement and care for other people’s feelings.
