Bachelor Recap: Episode 8
The recap will be up as soon as I finish researching what type of mascara Renee uses. Not only does it withstand gracious tears, but also a seagull dropping a sandwich which then landed on her head would not deter the lusciousness of those lashes.

Renee was so very gracious and I think she actually dodged a bullet. I’m not so sure JP is good enough for her.
Loved DAndi’s daddy. I love men of few but succinct words whose faces tell all. Like detective Foyle on “Foyle’s War”. Didn’t watch the drama of the last women’s bitch be cray family, but the other three have some really great parents.
Can’t wait to read the recap!! And Lincee I must add that the picture you posted of yourself…. You look great. I’ve been lurking your blog since Jillian and short green shorts Ed. Thanks for making laughter a part of Tuesdays!!!

Nikki calls it when she said all that crazy has to come from somewhere. Claire’s family made me shudder. Wow.
I predict he chooses Claire but think he should go with Nikki. Lovely guy, lovely personality, gentle heart but I honestly think the language barrier prevents any deep conversations. Therefore Renee, Opera and DAndi never had a chance. My money is on Claire for the win and a near break up for After the Final Rose.
I LOVED Clare’s family dynamics! I felt sorry for Clare but I was laughing so hard at the overprotective chaperone sister and the mute mother who miraculously burst forth in beautiful, coherent speech when JuanPablo cracked the code: SPANISH.
I was rooting for Renee and Clare, so now I’m rooting for Clare.
That is the big shocker and the reason for all the tears? Juan doesn’t use the fantasy suite with any of the three gals?

I think Nikki was putting on an act for the camera. I saw she also models part-time so my guess is she’s hoping for the Bachelorette after this if she’s not picked or some kind of career boosting move. Just something about her – can’t quite put my finger on it. I really dislike her even though her family was so sweet and its clear they love her and blah blah blah – still didn’t sway me. I just really disliked how she treated Clare a couple of episodes back.
Love Andi so much. She’s so stunning and normal and sweet and I just love her.
I think he’ll pick Clare and I like Clare. Yes she’s a tad full of herself (aren’t they all to some extent though) but I think she loves him and is in it for the right reasons. I think she just wants to find love. Her sister Laura was a bit odd though trying to come between Clare talking to her mom – I didn’t get that part at all but it all sorted itself out and like the other viewer up there JP cracked momma’s code: Spanish. I had no idea Clare was latino lol.
Rooting for Clare.
I remember clare saying she was “half Mexican” at the beginning but I had forgotten! Why doesn’t she know any Spanish from her mother? I’m sure JP would have melted like butter if she had pulled out some Spanish on him during their dates!
Loved Andi’s dad – once again, someone normal is totally creeped out by these shenanigans and isn’t afraid to say it! I did think Andi had the hardest time saying why she was “almost” in love with JP – it is like grasping at straws! There is nothing there!
I do think Clare is the most interested in JP, and I agree that Renee dodged a bullet.
You guys, you guys! I noticed somthing last night, and I think it tells us EXACTLY who he is going to pick!
So, he has this habit of touching ladies faces and hair, right? I find it disrespectful, and it irritates me on their behalf. But…HE NEVER DOES IT TO CLARE. Seriously! He doesn’t manhandle her face like he does everyone else’s. Could it be because he respects her? I think so, and I’m calling it now – it’s Clare.
HAHA!! Finally mentioning Renee’s mascara! I’ve been wondering this alllll season.

The comment about him respecting Claire made me laugh… he had sex with her in the ocean!!! did we forget about this all of a sudden?
Also, I think Nikki hit it on the head last episode…. Claire’s family is nutso just like her (except for her mom who seems so sweet and was super weirded out by the whole situation). I can’t stand her. I feel like all the stories about her dad while super cute stories feel contrived… the fact that she brings his death up EVERY CHANCE SHE GETS makes me feel like it’s just a cry for attention… it’s like she wants people to pity her and people like that disgust me. She doesn’t seem genuine to me at all.
I love love love Andi but hope she doesn’t end up with JP. She’s far too cerebral for him. She’s a DA for crying out loud. I don’t see her with someone like him at all.
I think he ends up with Nikki. She’s cute as a button and not as clingy as Claire and as we’ve all seen… he loves a chase.
