Bachelorette Ali: Episode 6
Recap will be up as soon as I get back from purchasing a copper kettle for my olive oil.
In the meantime, let me know what you thought about last night’s non-dramatic rose ceremony and spoilery “scenes from this season” ending. Did anyone else notice that Cape Cod Chris was not featured in the Tahiti footage? I trust this is sneaky editing on ABC’s part.
Surely…
It better be sneaky footage that left Cape Cod Chris out…he is the one!! If she wants a husband, she should pick him. I feel like she’s going to pull a Jake and pick the one she wants to boink instead of the one who she can actually have an actual relationship with…sigh. And seriously, the olive oil wrestling would not have been as funny without Chris’ commentary 🙂
Yes!! I definitely noticed that Cape Cod Chris was the only one missing from the post-Portugal footage. Say it ain’t so. . .
Two words: voice mails.
It had to be ABC’s attempt at trickery. CCC is too awesome — funny, charming, and oh, the wrestling scene. Forget the calendar they shot earlier this season. I would paper my office in a calendar of Roberto, CCC, and Kirk during the wrestling. Wow. ABC tried to make it appear as though Ty goes far and I just don’t see the same level of connection between them as the others.
My theory on Frank — she thinks he’s her “safety” guy. The guy who isn’t too good-looking, funny, or smart and therefore she thinks is the one most likely to fall in love with her and propose at the end. I like Roberto, CCC, and Kirk much better but she just doesn’t believe she’s good enough for them.
least dramatic rose ceremony ever.
I felt so bad for the boys when they were wrestling… it looked so cold!
I was shocked that they showed so much of what was going to happen in the next few weeks. Don’t they realize it is the suspense that draws us back each week? They should have just gone ahead and told us who she chose if they were going to show that much. Yes, the rose ceremony wasn’t a big surprise but have to admit that Craig will make a good catch for someone. He has a great sense of humor and is cute in his own way! Glad he at least got to have a little one on one time with her even though he was more interested in cuddling then Ali was. Bless his heart, half the time it looked like he was hugging a statue!
This episode was pretty boring to me….the whole Justin girlfriend thing was toooo long! Also – I am so glad Craig “baby-fat” went home…he was annoying and cocky – thinking he could get Ali. Also – I couldn’t believe they showed so much on the previews! My mom always said, “if you give away the milk for free, they won’t buy the cow!” I think they are gave us too much! I feel like I know whats going to happen…no suspense!! I can’t wait to read your recap – it makes me laugh so!
It has been a while since I have truly enjoyed an episode of the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I LOVED the voicemail montage as Rated PG was leaving in shame. That was so AWESOME. The olive oil wrestling had me rolling. Cape Cod made it so much more entertaining than it already was with his commentary. I love his sense of humor.
“I am not buying a rug…I am not buying a rug…I’m traveling around the world what am I going to do with a rug” Seeing Frank and Ali carrying that rug through the streets made me laugh. Lots of OHCH this week and that always makes me happy.
I hope Craig’s awful African tribal cap gets a “Jim” face in Lincee’s recap. What the crap was that?!? I missed so much of the episode because I was distracted and didn’t care that much anyway. I missed the wrestling. Figured it’d be a pillow-over-my-face moment anyway. *Sigh* How did we go from HTC Brad caliber to Anxious Ali caliber?
Also just a question… how does Jessie know Rated R’s girlfriend? Do all people in Canada that have connections to the Bachelor/Bachelorette know each other? How do they get the number to contact ABC?
What a wuss! So funny that Justin ran from her….then his lame-o excuse….we are not all as dumb as the thinks we are.
I figure the girlfriend probably tried to connect with a former contestant on Facebook or whatever to get connected with ABC.
The voicemails were priceless!
CCC has to be in paradise since they didn’t show much of him or Ty. Could that make him the winner? 🙂
Can’t wait to hear what Lincee has to say…
I LIKE Frank. There. I said it. Now, that said, I’m not really sure which one of the guys is best for her. Loved the “I am not buying a rug” scene.
I really like this group of guys. But I have to be honest, Kirk is my least favorite. It’s not that I don’t like him, just not so much.
Both Chris and Ty seem like well-rounded guys. It would “seem” Ty’s divorce has brought him much growth. Still a “little” weirded out over Chris’ tattoo. But they are both great guys.
Roberto is perhaps the most mysterious. But he seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Did anyone else think it was really strange that Ty basically admitted that he divorced his wife because she wanted to work??? Is that odd?
Does anyone else think this season is more staged than others? Bla. And what is up with so much info about future shows? Can’t wait for the recap 🙂
I still can’t get over what a loser Justin turned out to be….I guess there’s something to be said about intuition, none of the guys liked him from the get-go….I actually thought they were being a little harsh, turns out they were right all along! I really hope that the “girlfriend” back in Toronto dumps his lyin’ a$$!! I was also secretly hoping he’d fall into the water feature he was scaling to avoid contact with Ali and the cameraman..HAHA!!
No big surprise when Craig was sent home although he was starting to grow on me….#6-Trish – I agree, Ali looked like there were a million other places she’d rather be and he was trying so hard…it was painful to watch! 🙁
Other things I noticed during the not so exciting Turkey trip….(1) Is it just me or did Ty look like he was wearing the Dodge Ram emblem around his neck…? (2) Did anyone notice all the bandaids on the back of Ali’s ankles in the lovely Turkish bath..? (3) I think I watch too much Sci-Fi channel but I swear when Ali was on her one-on-one with Frank for a “romantic” dinner in the sewers…all I kept picturing were scenes from C.H.U.D. HAHA! Can’t wait for Lincee’s take on Turkey!!!
