Bachelorette Ashley Recap: Episode 6

The recap will be up as soon as I finish my morning to do list:

1. Since Ashley continues to make unfortunate wardrobe choices, look up alternate words for “see through” and “sheer” in the thesaurus. I’m going to need them for the recap.

2. Try to re-watch the elevator kiss in its entirety without hiding behind my fingers or laughing.

3. YouTube Donnie Wahlberg at the NKOTBSB concert singing “Cover Girl.”

As usual, you are welcome to check out my Top Five list HERE over at AOL where I share the SHUT UP moments from last night’s episode.

Looking forward to it! Plus, your thoughts on the guys reaction when she told them about Bentley. JP did a solid job listening and understanding, while some of the others got catty and broke down. Glad Bentley is done and I hope we don’t have to hear about him again.

I’m so tired of hearing the “Bentley” word…and of her constantly touching her bangs. I hid behind my pillow a lot last night…..

Besides the Bentley thing and Ashley messing with her bangs, the thing that drives me insane is how she constantly licks her lips, pucker her lips, and does strange gestures with them.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned is how bow legged she is. Of course wearing skinny jeans and children’s clothing makes it look more so.

I am so glad the dot, dot, dot finally got dotted. Geesh!

I noticed that Bentley was pursing his lips like Ashley does constantly, seemed to be in a mocking way. One of the other guys , possibly Mickey was doing it as well. Maybe its an unconscious reaction.
I didn’t think that it was possible for anyone to be as annoying as De Ahnna, but Ashley is, altho seems to be a nicer person than De
Did think she looked spectacular in the rose cerremony dress, best she has ever looked

How are her bangs not stuck to her forehead? Seriously – she messes with them constantly. Bentley was clearly looking for a free trip to Hong Kong – thank goodness she actually figured that out.

As for Donnie – I went to their concert last week and thought it was so fun…until I realized ripping your wife beater off was not acceptable when you’re in your 40s.

I think the next Bachelor(s) should be the Grobans. At the same time. (They could play switch games like twins do.) I loved them on last night’s show. The show has gotten so predictable, two guys dating the same batch of ladies would be fun.

The words “shoots” and “manhoodness” were my carry aways from last nights show. Did anyone else notice Ashley saying those?

Liana, totally with you on that lip/mouth thing that Ash does. She’s so self-conscious. Get the girl some floss or a toothpick, for the love of Pete!

The next drinking game word or phrase should be “moving forward” (or “foh-ward”, as Ashley says) I counted around 22 times last night.

When Ashley announced the dragon boat challenge, I knew that Ames and Mickey would totally smoke the competition. I finally figured out why I like these two so much – they’ve managed to outsmart the producers! So far, at least, neither of them has done or said a single thing that they would be embarrassed to have their friends (including future girlfriends) watch. That’s impressive! I want Mickey to be the next bachelor and I want Ames to take me to Thailand 🙂

Twi-I think she actually said “manlihoodness”, which is even more embarrassing! Love it! Glad someone else noticed that one.

@Juno….I totally agree with Mickey as next bachelor. When he walked out on her I was all for him. What a good move!!!

Mickey is one of the few who have realized it is over and time to walk. The rest just hang over for the free booze and trips. Come to think of it, he should have waited. They are going to Taiwan and Fiji. What was he thinking?

Lincee, I loved today’s Top Five Shut-Up Moments. How awkward were the elevator kisses?! My roommate and I were both hiding behind pillows. I adore Ames, but it really did seem like it might have been his first kiss ever (with a girl).

I was proud of Mickey for leaving, and was expecting Blake to do the same, due to his reaction to the B-word speech.

I wonder how much editing was done to the Ashley/Bentley footage, in order to make her look so (relatively) dignified. I’m guessing quite a bit. I’m glad that she finally sees him for who he is (though I agree with whoever said that they could’ve saved a ton of money by simply showing her a few seconds of one of his confessional videos). I hope the number of times his name is said per episode goes down next week (though I guess it’ll be less fun for those of you playing the B-word drinking game!). I am beyond over that bag of d*uche.

The way Ashley says “Hong Kong” was driving me I N S A N E ! Anyone else?

I was so proud of Mickey…actually surprised more guys didn’t walk out, and really surprised that SHE was surprised at their reaction! Lots o’ surprises! haha

JP is extremely patient with her. I think he makes it to the end.

The boys had better realize she is real sensitive about the B-word. It is similar to DeAHnna and Graham. However, she was smart enought to know he wasn’t that into her.
