Bulls, blood, dust and mud
Tomorrow is the big day. Going to meet half of the Amazing Race cowboy team and then cheer Cord McCoy in his bull riding efforts.
Never fear…I have my list of questions and Flip Cam ready to report back to the masses!
For those of you who would like to join me, the PBR Touring Pro Division event is at 7:30pm at Resistol Arena.
Tickets are $10 for reserved seats, $25 for premium reserved ($15 students 22 yrs and under) and $40 for Bull Chutes Reserved.
Tickets are available at www.resistolarena.com and through TicketMaster.
It’s boots and chaps. It’s cowboy hats. It’s spurs and LET ‘ER GO! It’s the ropes and the reigns and the joys and the pains…and the call the thing Mesquite Rodeo.
Giddy up.
Dude – don’t say “let ‘er go” to your cowboy!!
It’s LATIGO – http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Latigo
can’t wait for the report….and where was the other half??
April M…I think Lincee meant let the bull out of the chute. Not talking about “latigo”, the leather strip. Don’t be so literal, Dude
pegs549: April M is just quoting the lyrics… Latigo is the correct word from the song 🙂
It’s totally “Latigo” if you want to quote the Garth Brooks song.
If you want to take liberties and describe the event of bull riding, then you can use whatever phrase you want!
I see. I don’t listen to country music so didn’t know that. Still think Lincee meant “let ‘er go!” Thanks for the heads-up.
Lincee, you may still be on cloud 9 but we want the scoop!
Need the scoop! All I could think about while watching AR last night!!!
I watched AR for the first time last night so I could see these cowboys of Lincee’s! They were sweet. Most of the other duos were annoying and whiney. I can’t wait to hear about your interview Lincee!!!
Scoop! Scoop! Scoop!
Maybe she eloped with him.
Lincee, I do await an exciting update, however, I believe the lyrics for “Rodeo” might have a little mistake….I could be wrong, and I only bring it up because my dear, dear college friend used to always “misunderstand” song lyrics, and “Rodeo” was at the top of the list. I believe it’s “spurs and latigo” – not “Let ‘er go.’ A latigo is a leather strap that’s attached to the saddle. No worries, my friend thought he was saying “latiDOG” – yeah, there is no such word, 🙂
they explained earlier, she lives closer to where the fliming is 🙂 of COURSE they would have picked Lincee otherwise!
I’m so excited to hear about your interview! I love the cowboys on AR and hope they make it all the way!
Oh my gawl, Lincee! Wishing you your own private awesomeness! Those dudes seem like so much fun! Hoping Cord is all that and more! Anxiously awaiting the deets.
