I have to admit that was blown away by our first round of Dr Pepper finalists. The voting for our cute October boys was AMAZING! I had no idea readers/commenters/voters would be so passionate. I did not expect there to be campaigns, voting rallies, fortune cookie paraphernalia and political messages storming friends and family on Facebook. Obviously, I loved it. Clearly, Dr Pepper is awesome and stirs a raw emotion
The campaign for Mr. October was amazing. I never expected so many comments, emails, Facebook messages and tweets about the inaugural launch of “Cute Boys and Dr Pepper.” Way to go people! If you’ve followed my website for more than five minutes, you probably know that I’ve been drinking Dr Pepper since I was a little girl. I blame my Mama for that. She started drinking Diet DP a long, long time ago…because it was the preferred beverage of Elvis Presley. We probably drank Dr Pepper while eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches with “Aloha from Hawaii” serenading us in the background.
