IHGB #289: Bachelor Zach Episode 5 Recap
Hello, everyone!
Well, last week, my grandmother passed away, and this week we had two funerals. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, but I was able to knock out a podcast. Once again, Some Guy in Austin and I are all over the place, since we essentially only have one date with which to dissect. Thank you, Covid, for continuing to ruin everything!
With only one date, Some Guy and I are able to speculate to our hearts’ content and wonder out loud about numerous important topics, such as:
- What would a Pretty Man date look like?
- Can you name more than two UB40 songs?
- Did Zach really have Covid? Or was he too scared to face Kylee and Mercedes in person to kick them off the show?
- Considering Greer’s uber-important teacup tattoo, what would your signature ink depict?
Some Guy and I laugh way too hard at his answer. Why yes! it does involve a dolphin!

I think that Zach actually tested positive for Covid. He was not so sick but had to be quarantined. They could’t move forward with all the girls because they only had space to the next destination for 8.
I was surprised Gabi wasn’t quarantined as well, however, they probably all were tested.
Anyway… I think Zach is going to fall in love with 4 women and won’t know what to do. Jess, Gabi, Kaity, and Kat will be final 4.
I’m not sure about Jess but I’d have to go thru the roster to come up with my 4th. Kaity and Kat are practically twins. I think one of them will be his choice.
That’s an interesting theory that Zach didn’t even HAVE Covid! Whatever the case, though, it was a weird scenario and if indeed it was Covid, they responded to it in some strange ways!
After hearing some guy discuss Zac’s propensity for saying”hallooo”. That’s what I hear every time he greets someone, yikes but he says it ALL THE TIME
